Terms & Conditions
The following Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made directly with Hotel Kalender either by phone or using this website. Please take a moment to read them prior to making a booking.
Payment:
You will be asked to provide a credit card at the time of the Booking to secure your reservation. Where a deposit is required in advance; by Booking you are authorising the debiting of the card provided.
Charges:
The prices displayed on the website are a total for your requested stay. Any meals, service or VAT (at the current rate) are included only if specified. A minimum length of stay, deposit, cancellation charge and other conditions may apply to certain rates, as specified.
The VAT breakdown shown is indicative based on the current rate of VAT, and the expected VAT treatment of the goods or services, and may change depending on the actual tax point of the invoice, and the VAT treatment of the goods and services purchased at that date.
Price lists for additional items, such as Restaurant meals and Room Service, are on display at relevant locations within the Hotel and are available on request.
Guests must pay all outstanding charges on arrival at the Hotel.
Cancellation/ Non-Arrival:
The cancellation policies varies depending on how much notice to arrival you inform us of your cancellation.
For cancellations made 48 hours or more before your arrival date will be charged at loss of deposit only.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours before your arrival date will be charged at loss of deposit plus one night price.
No Shows will be charged the full balance of the reservation.
These charges will be made from the credit card used at the time of making the reservation.
Bookings:
Guests may book in advance or on arrival. Rooms are subject to availability so therefore we encourage all guests to make advance bookings. The hotel reserves the right to refuse any Booking for good reason.
All bookings made in advance require a 25% deposit to secure the reservation, the balance is then payable on arrival at the Hotel upon check in.
All prices will be guranteed at the time of booking and a full confirmation will be sent to the customer.
Change of Booking Details:
Reservations maybe amended, amendments accepted include names, room type, board basis, arrival and departure dates. However please note any amendments are subject to availiability and date changes may result in a possible rate charge depending on the season.
Arrival and Departure:
All guests may check in any time after 14.00 on the day of arrival. Please note that this check in time is for guests who have made an advance reservation and paid a deposit.. For guests who arrive on the day without a reservation we can not gurantee a 14.00 check in but we will do our best to accommodate all guests as quickly as possible.
On the day of departure we ask all guests to vacate their room by 12.00. Any guests who fails to check out by 12.00 without the permission of the hotel wiill be subject to a late check out fee of 50% off the nightly room rate. Late check out rooms are avaliable so please ask at the time of reservation or upon check in.
Parking:
The hotel does have parking availiable however spaces are very limited.
